Have there been murders in the the neighborhood or town where you live?

In my neighborhood there was a murder just around the corner from my house. Another murder took place down the street from where I live. The town I live in has a population of less than three hundred people. And there have been mulitple murders and attempted murders here. Do you think that this is unusual, or has there been a breakdown of morality all over the world?

I hear it all the time on the news, children being shot while playing in their yards outside. The other day a baby 1 yrs.old was sleeping on a bed with her Mom, 1AM a bullet was shot at the house, came through the wall hit the baby in the head, came out of the jaw and into the Mom,s leg. The Mom is fine but the baby is in the C.C.U. this is the world we live in now.. Sad!!!

I am afraid that this is the "Brave new World" we live in today. Brutal murders are not limited to the "bad" neighborhoods any more.

A woman and her boyfriend murdered her three children by drowning them. I live in a rural town of about 7,000. This is not the only case of murder in my town, but probably the most televised. In a relatively close area, there was a mother that shot her three kids and then turned the gun on herself. There was a mass murder committed by the boyfriend of one of the kids in another town nearby. I think that desparate times create desperate people. most of the murders in my area have been murder/suicide in recent years.

yes there has been penlty of times ranging from aguments to drug deals gone bad and even just random shooting just for peoples thrill of murdering someone

Our murders or attempted murders happen in the south part of town. I think you need to move or buy a gun.

Nothing too close to where I live, but I live in Los Angeles where we have a large quanity of murderous idiots . . . . so people get murdered . .

I live in a small rural town. So far, it is very safe. I think with the drug problems, it is not unusual to have murders in areas where it once was safe.

Yes, people have been murdered in my neighborhood and it scares everyone around. I live in a small neighborhood and feel like I know my neighbors until something like that happens.
