Is there such a thing as a silly question?

I am not so sure if there is. But I have a question that might sound silly to you. I am always confused about this. WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN there & their? I am always confused about these 2 words. No matter how many times I have read the definition. So many times my husband explained to me but no use. I still don't understand it.

There indicates a place as in, "I live here not there." It is the opposite of here. Their means belonging to them as in "That is not their house." Here you want to indicate that the house belongs to them....
hope that helps :)
