I'm not going to speculate, but what do you think? How would things be different if we were about a foot tall and weighed about as much as a schnauzer?
Most of the animals that was made extinct my man would be here. Since we would need much smaller houses, we would not occupy much space. Hence much of the forests would be still intact and we would pose no threat to animal life and the environment. Our cities and towns would be much smaller. We would consume much less energy and since our brains would be much smaller, we would be much less smarter and less destructive. Probably there would not be as many wars as there are now either.
I would not take my daily walk just incase some large animal accidentally trod on me and I got squashed. Probably I would use my sons toy car to move around as the usual distances for grocery shopping etc would be too much of a distance to walk. I would not let my son hold a balloon or fly a kite just incase he got carried away in the wind. I would probably train my dog to give me rides. Definitely there would be additional fears in my life.
That would be quite scary, think of all the predators we would have, and we couldn't reach the pedals to drive cars or the door handles to get out of our houses, or the rails to get our clothes out of the wardrobe, or the tap to get washed, this topic is just too weird!!!!!
It would help us fit into airplane seats easier but we would have a rough time perhaps reaching buttons in an elevator unless they were smaller as well!! It should also make clothes less expensive since it would take less material. Unless birds were small as well, we would have to carry umbrellas everywhere to prevent being hit by something dropped or perhaps to prevent being carried off to somewhere we don't want to be by bigger birds!!
