Entitlement? Are people feeling that the world owes them?

I have noticed through my travels and life experience that there seems to be an overall sense of entitlement with some people. People, and remember I am not trying to painting everyone with the same brush; I just mean some people, in general, take things for granted. I was on a plane recently and a man complained and complained about some of the policies. If you do not have control over the way something is done, then you have to find out how things are done. No one wants to read the fine print and wants things to be just so. I think you have to find out the rules and then decide if they are acceptable to you. Do you think people expect too much or are they accepting bad treatment?

A perfect example of this, is the TV Show I watched earlier this week. It shows TEEN Moms (some as young as 13 yrs old) Unmarried and Pregnant.
They are all attending a High School (JUST FOR THEM) They have NO Education, NO Money, most of the Baby Daddies are long gone.
The ones (very FEW) that ARE still in the picture, can't pay their Bills, they're ALL about 3 days away from getting Evicted............The girl usually expects her PARENTS to pay the Bills, provide Housing, Transportation, cook the Meals, etc.......
And THEN, when the baby is born: Babysit, so she can go back to running around with her friends again. The girls are falling asleep in Class, can't turn in their Homework, Skip Classes ----- Gees, it's just a Nightmare! And, many of the girls already have OTHER kids they can't take of.
Many of the Teens (Boys and Girls) have Criminal Records - don't we just KNOW that Welfare (OUR TAXES) are going to end up footing the bills for the majority of their MISTAKES and yet they seem to have NO Respect for the people that are Trying to HELP them (their Parents, the Teachers, etc.)
PERFECT EXAMPLE of girls that think the World (US) owes THEM a Living!

Yes have met a few of those people, that thinks it,s owed to them.We are all equal in our struggles with the world. No one is better than the next! No one is above another! Some who are just complainers just like to hear themselves complain.

I have definatly met some people who feel like the world owes them something. I do not know where they get this view from. They always seem hard done by and moan about (in my opinion) pointless things. I have known some people in the past who I would descirbe as being very well off and privalaged but they still are not content and feel like they should have more. Some people definatly do not appriciate what they have. Also there are other people who just love a good old moan and will complain about absolulty anything.

Někteří lidé očekávají víc než dostanou ale musí se také trochu snažit aby byli úspěšní.
