How do you get most of your daily news and how can you be sure what you see & hear is actually the truth?

I get about 80% of my news online and the other 20% from a combination of TV & radio. The most important thing is to verify your news with a variety of sources. Many people have their favorite "Slanted" news network and generally they know it no matter if they admit to it or not. What is important is to read and listen to both sides of a topic. Don't get all of your info from a Right or Left leaning news source. All too often people get lazy and just go with whatever their news source tells them. Also, consider the "Science" of whatever topic they are are commenting on. This is goes a long way at keeping you well informed.

I think most 'news' has to be taken with a pinch of salt (if not a shovel !)

Mostly online and some t.v.. I never fully believe everything I see or read and use multiple sources before I feel fully informed. I do not ever rely on Fox news nor do I watch it. CNN is to me the most unbiased but fox is just useless.

I am the same. I don't take what they say and believe it all. The news is definitely "slanted" They also like to create a lot of drama.

I get most of my news online from a variety of sites. I like to see the different points of view that different sites provide. I also read my local newspaper on line.

I have been trying to stay away from the news since it gets pretty depressing if you watch it day after day and hear all the bad news, but usually watch the local every now and then!
