I do not think pit bulls should be banned. What about you? Why or why not?

I don't because I have owned so many and honestly realize that it's not breed but the deed that makes them the way they are. A chihuahua has a higher bite rate. Guns don't kill people, people do. Same with this breed. I have done tons of research and run a pit bull rescue but I want to see who truly agrees and why or why not.

pit bulls are the sweetest dogs i know, and the meanest i know. it all depends on the owner and how they train them and how they respond to what the animal does. they are some of the most loyal dogs ever and thats why they make such good fighting and guard dogs - they will die for you. pit bulls can be extremely gentle and protective of small children...or afraid of them. pit bulls are my favorite breed and i want to own a rescue just for them because aside from chihuahuas, they are the most abandoned breed. they need a loving home!

no they shouldnt be. people dont seem to realize that it is a known fact that they are the 2nd most sweet natured dog in the world. what people fail to know is that the ankle biters are far more mean then pitbulls it just so happens that there bark isnt as bad as there bite. i think the people who make there pitbulls mean should be put down themselfs instead of the dog being its NOT there nature to be mean. pitbulls are the most beautiful and popluar dog so everyone is trying to make them mean to see who has the baddest pit on the block they are all trying to compete against each other reguardless of the well being of there down and its immiture and selfish
