Do you have a problem with burglars?

Hi all,
I was reading the local paper and noticed there had been a spate of robberies in our area... The two boys were apparently going up to windows and having a good look in, then they would knock on the door, if someone answered it, they would make up a story about being lost. If they got no answer they would break in... This is all in daylight, one of the robberies happened at 330pm, just as the kids were coming out of school!
Do you have a problem in your area?

Hi there, although there has been a couple of break ins around the area where I live. So far I haven't been affected by this. Sometimes it is a good thing having nosey neighbours.

No, we're all to nosey around here. I see any vehicle I don't recognize, and I'm out there like an old biddy hen wanting to know what is going on. We don't tolerate people sneaking around, and we have no problems bringing the law in.

no not really its quite a quite area and long may it continue but my parents were broken into years ago and they put some things into a pillow case and the police said they had been watched so they know what time that they went out

Yeah, I live in Cheltenham and there is a big problem with burglaries in our area. My mum is paranoid, and says I always have to lock the door when I come in.
