Fantastic speech! this was done by Charlie Chaplin in his movie "the dictator"

there have been some scenes more modern added to his speech but these are the words Charlie spoke in 1940 in the movie and what he believed as he stated at other times. We think of Charlie Chaplin as the comic little tramp but he also wrote the music for the song Smile in 1936 - The words were not added until much later. I think though he should be remembered for these words though as much as anything else he ever did or said!!

From the past times many words, many trues, was a secret behind normal people. Firstli was a secret reserved only for kings, next the trues was censored and reserwed only for rulling class. "Fantastic speach", but if we do nothing, this speach become worth a broken penny at all. The question is: Why we schould remeber somone if we dont listen him and do nothing with his values prowided.

Those words were very inspiring that's for sure. I've never heard these words before. I love that he talks so fervently about democracy, humanity and liberty as that is what the USA is all about.

each actor would play at least once in his life, including Hamlet and Charlie Chaplin! I perceive as a comedian, which constantly keeps silent ...

Wow, what a speech! I had no idea that Charlie Chaplin was so eloquent. The footage is so apt. This speech made me cry since it is so relevant to what is going on today in the world; today, yesterday and most likely tomorrow.
I think I may need to listen to this again because it is a very important speech that says so much about the condition of mankind. It takes me a while for things to sink in for me sometimes.
