do you find it hard to stick to diets? any advice?

do you find it hard to stick to a diet? i started mine again (i know again!) on tuesday. and actually stuck top it this week, and lost 3lb! woohoo. (could have been more as i didnt count the curry and chocs,cake etc over the weekend!)
i want to lose 2 stone by the end of may for hols, and health. but any advice to stick to it? thinking of putting a photo on the fridge! done ok so far, but think i may get tired of it. any help welcome. thanks :D

I gave up dieting years ago. They never really worked for me. I would lose a few pounds and then gain them all back. Now, I just exercise... which really works for me.

i dont ever go on diets i just take a food out of my diet but i never had big trouble with weight

yes i love my food especialy chocolate when im down i eat more my daughters the opposite she doesnt hardly eat and is obsessed with her weight

Hi there join the club here - I am too al so need to lose quite a bit of weight but have no mot tiv ation and it will be ages be foer I can be in the right frame of mind - I think you need a good sup port net work and it is a bout re training your taste buds and hab bits and keep the exer cise reg gime up - and keep an eye on the scales - if you find you go up by half a stone, lose it a gain . . . . . it is not easy, I think every one has been there and done it and failed - my self in cluded ! ! ! !

I wont do diets as such as ive probably said before - just the word is enough - eating healthily is the best way and eat less calories than you burn!

A friend once said to me - everyone is on a diet - just generally whatever you eat is called a diet so the term is widely misunderstood, secondly it is hard to stick to certain diets which you are not accustomed to or dont like too much - i say the best trick is not to follow diets like atkins or anything just eat healthy foods which you like - even eat some choclate now and then in moderation - once a week or 2 and be patient - mix in some excercise and let nature take its course and everything will be working perfectly before you know it - dont force your body to lose weight let it do it naturally

I don't diet. Try to have a halthy diet but will have what I want to eat also keep active though stay well away from gyms. My children stick to a seafood diet - if they see food they eat it. Good luck with the diet.
