What tip has been your favourite for losing and keeping off unwanted weight (body fat)?

I've just watched Stephen King's 'Thinner' on TV and remembered that I was that fat man last year (as I type I'm watching John Prescott as well). The thing that turned it round for me was changing my metablolism by forcing myself to eat breakfast every day. This was not all but it was an important first step.

I am lucky i never need to loose weight i eat what i want and when i wont but never seem to put on much weight. I have been seriously under weight but never over weight. The only tip i can give you is do Zumba Danceing I love it. Reply

I joined weightwatchers and found it incredibly helpful in educating me on healthy eating, I don't go to weightwatchers anymore but I eat more healthily and eat the naughty things in moderation. Reply

Just the idea that I would have to actually go out into the charity shops to find clothing to fit me, should I put on any real weight, is enough to make me forgo any nibbles that might tempt me. That, and I can't afford the nibbles. Reply

Eat healthy and exercise. Don't be tempted by greasy foods and make sure you eat all of your veg and get your five a day. Reply

i went on a weightwatchers diet and had porridge for breakfast every day and i lost 1st 7ibs in a couple of months and am now down to 8st 5 ibs Reply

I'm on a healthy eating plan, but I never seem to be able to face breakfast, even though I know it's meant to be the important meal of the day and does have a positive effect on boosting the metabolism. Well done to you ! Reply
