Taco Bell isn't just for lunch and dinner anymore. Last Thursday, over 800 restaurants, mostly located in a dozen Western States started offering breakfast in their attempt to capture more market share. Thinking outside the Bun....Breakfast burritos and breakfast wraps are now sold at these locations along with hash browns, iced or hot coffee and Orange juice. If all goes well, they expect to go nationwide by 2014. What's your thought on Breakfast at the Bell?
I boycott Taco Bell because I'm told they buy their tomatoes from farmers who exploit their workers, so it doesn't matter what they do to their menu. Until I get word that they've changed their ways, I'm staying away. It's been a big blessing, too, because it caused me to discover a far superior Taco place -- Jim Boy's. Yum!
I don't think it's a good idea. It seems that all fast food resturants who don't already offer breakfast food are just following McDonalds and Burger King. I mean Taco Bell has allways been known as the place to go for a late nigh snack, Having them serve breakfast won't exactly hurt its image, but it won't be looked at as the same ole Taco Bell. It's just going to be like any other resturants except serving tacos. I mean how many ideas could they come up with to make tacos breakfast foods that people will want to eat. I'm Sure they are just doing that to fight the competition because all over the southeast Michigan they have been closing up shop. I still don't think this is a good idea. They should always be considered to be as the late night snack place.
