Would you clone your pet?

I'm against cloning of any kind including the cloning of pets. The Humane Society has spoken out against pet cloning by saying that it is unethical because there are so many homeless pets that remain in shelters or live as strays and I agree with them. I believe that the money spent on pet cloning would be better spent on the vaccination and care of those animals.

I would but I doubt I would ever be able to afford it, an adopted pet could never replace a well loved lost pet

No, I find it freaky and I do not understand why anyone would want to do it. Surely the old fashioned way that the animals have of reproducing works just fine! :)

I don't think that l would. Apart from the fact that with the best will in the world they can become tying, l would expect any clone to be exactly like the parent. That would test the nature v nurture theory and would be interesting no doubt, but l still wouldn't be willing to give it a go.

No, I would not clone my pet. I have had many pets though out the years and I have loved each one of them dearly, but I would not clone them as I believe that everyone of them is unique and does not need a duplicate.
