what are your opinions about cruise hoilday?

i have never be to cruise hoilday before ,so i don't know what to expect or do,any information will be useful.

I have never been on a cruiser of any kind. I've always wanted to go on one, but the one time we checked into going over Christmas, the prices were three times higher during that week.

I went on a cruise to Alaska last May and it was my very first cruise. It was one of the coolest experience I have ever had. They make sure you have fun and are pampered the entire time. You have 24 hour room service, tons of shows and entertainment to watch, casinos, games, art shows, spas, gyms, putt putt coarse, pools, jacuzzi, you get to go to some pretty awesome places, and lets not forget some of the best food I have ever ate in my life. It can be pricey but we booked our cruise a year in advance so we got a great deal on it. When you pay for your cruise it basically covers your room and food. If you want alcoholic drinks, sodas, spa services, casino, excursions, and the gratuity is additional money not included in your booking fee. You get your room clean several times a day. I definitely will cruise again!

not for me, plus I have heard too much negative stuff about them lately, a cruise ship sank and people died, then its hard to get medical attention on board

I have been on about 15 cruises and have just booked another one. I see one member says they are for OAP but I do not think that is correct as some ships have things like climbing walls and I do not think they are for OAP. The thing I like about cruises is that you wake up somewhere different every day - even if it is a sea day you have travelled. The ships now are mostly excellent as is the 24 hour food. Drinks are extra. You have someone to come in and tidy your cabin and turn down you bed at night, as much or as little entertainment at you want, the opportunity to visit different places, pools, jacuzzis, spa facilities all in one place. I liken it to a floating hotel. We like the Princess ships and I just love their martini bar! There is a site called cruise critic where passengers leave reviews on the ships they have been on - might be worth a look. I
