How is your New Year going so far?

So far this new year things are going fine and smooth. I have no real complaints and I am looking forward to having a great year the rest of this year. I hope that all of you are having a good year so far!

Have had lots of different illness so far nothing serious but just getting me down. Still got a holiday to look froward to that is not that far away so am sure the year is going to get better.

We had a hot water heater go bad in Feb. (It was 26 years old.) I had to have a crown replaced because I had a cavity underneath it. That was really expensive because I don't have any dental insurance.

The New Year hasn't been too bad so far. I'm expecting better yet. We are refinancing the house and will have a lower interest and payment which is nice. My mother is holding her own so far and is certainly better than she was near the end of 2011. I'm back at my part time seasonal semi-retired job at a huge, beautiful plant nursery and that always makes me happy and hopeful that spring is here!! Things are good.

It has been warm and the neighbors have been torturing me all winter, just about. They have turned their yard into a mudhole with their four wheeler and do not see why they can't do the same to my yard. ???!!! The woman's band tore up my back yard when he drove through it and got stuck. She said she did not think I would mind. ???!!! I said he should have driven through THEIR back yard. Hello?! I am starting on my third new year here and can not wait to get out. Something goes on almost every day, so my last two years have been awful.

My new year is going well. It will be even better once I know which college my son will be transferring to. He should be hearing from some of the colleges this month, and a few in April. I hope he gets into his top choice, and I am really nervous for him!

My new year is going great. Not a heavy winter and we could have used more snow. Hopefully we will get it this spring so we don't have to worry about forest fires.
