I've never seen E.T.

Hi there, like you there are probably some films in which you immediately know you have no interest in seeing. So you never get around to watching them. Some of my friends look surprised when I say I've never seen E.T. as they term this a classic. But I still haven't seen this film no matter how many times they have said I should. Just like I have never seen Bambi, Dumbo for which they also expected me to have seen along with many others. As though they are a must see film and I should have seen them at somepoint. Are there any films which your friends are surprised that you have never seen before ? Or are there a certain genre of film you just have no interest in at all ? What are your thoughts on this ?

it is a classic, but i would term it as a must see movie, it was okay as i seen it several times, as more often then not it is on nearly every christmas or easter, but your not missing much, i am not sure if there are any movies that i have missed and would have like to see, as if i did not go at the time then it was not that important for me to go to see it in the first place. films are not the end of the world and everyone has different taste in movies so the fact that your friends are shock that you did not see it well it show they have different taste to you Reply

If you didn't see it thinking it would be too stupid to watch, you will be surprised. Yes, it is a children's story but it does pull on the heart strings regardless and you end up wanting the boy to accomplish his goal. It was worth seeing. Reply
