I have never done this but I had someone do this to me once. My old neighbor had just adopted a kitten from the local animal shelter and when he opened his door... somehow (gasp!) the kitten got out just as I was leaving my apartment. We started to talk about how cute the cat was and then we started hanging out. Have you used a pet in this way or had someone do this to you?
