Do you love one of your parents more than the other?

This is a no brainer for me because my Dad hasn't ever really been a part of my life growing up. Of course I love my Mom the best. She is and still is about the most awesome Mother and person I know. I come from a single parent household with 6 kids. Growing up I never met anyone who seemed to like their Dads. It might have been because we were young. I always wonder though, do you like your Mom better than your Dad?

Since both are gone, it is pretty irrelevant.

I am a daddy's girl all the way ! I have the most amazing father ever !! I do not get along with my mother at all. My mom is the type of person that is never happy and is a very negative person . It is really hard to be around her when all she does is yell and complain about everything. Don't get me wrong she is my mother and I love her because she gave me life but a person can only take so much of being around a negative person.

My parents and grandparents have all passed away. My father was stubborn and unyielding.

I'd say i've disliked them both equally over the years, maybe a bit more dislike for my Dad as he has been in my life less, but i can't help but feel that might be balanced out by how much my Mum has hindered my life. Tricky one. But i do know a lot of friends who prefer their dads, though mothers are generally more popular. But i'm sure the love is fairly equal.

I had to laugh when i read your question, then i read your post. The laughter was because my answer was hell yeah i love one more than the other, thats easy to do when you hate your father like i do, i should say like i used to, since his death i dont seem to be able to work up quite that level of virulence anymore. My mother should be mother of the millenia, she has successfully raised 9 kids by herself and everyone grew up to be a professional in one occupation or the other. My mother considers herself blessed for having so many kids who grew up to be sucessfull, we consider ourselves blessed to be born of this remarkable woman and to still have her with us still relatively healthy and all 9 of us do whatever it takes to keep her that way for as long as possible. Cherish your mom for as long as God lets her stay with you women like her and my mom dont come along all the time.
