Where did you go on your honeymoon?

I am getting married in the beginning of September and we are trying to figure out where we like to go on our honeymoon. So I would like to know where everyone went for theirs.

I never had a honeymoon, really. Congratulations to you. I guess it depends on what you like to do. Although, if it is your honeymoon you probably won't be doing too much sightseeing, etc. You could go to the sea shore or the mountain, etc.

I've had actually had a few. ;) My first one was to Hawaii and I got married on Oahu and then we spent time on Kuai. It was such a great time and so beautiful! The second official honeymoon was just a quick trip to the mountains because we had a trip planned to Greece the following month. Greece was really beautiful also but the trip was more to visit extended family and not much of a honeymoon. I'm sure that you'll find somewhere just perfect! :)

It really depends on what you like to do. My husband and I didn't have a honeymoon when we got married because we didn't have the money at the time; however, we are planning on taking a "anniversamoon" next year for our 5 year anniversary. I would say possibly a cruise or an "all inclusive" would be the best. Cruises are great because you can really just relax and enjoy yourselves and everything is pretty much "right there"; however, excursions can be costly and are sometimes better to "plan yourself" if you are willing to do the research - side note: the benefit of doing them through the ship is they won't leave you if you run late ~ lol ~ but of course you can get more for the money doing them yourself. All inclusives are awesome because EVERYTHING is "prepaid" for and they usually have a ton of things to do.
