Music is a very powerful thing; there are a lot of songs that I can apply to my life. I know that other people must feel the same way, so I want to know how music applies to your life. It can be any genre or by any artist.

I can name a lot of songs that apply to my life, but I am just going to stick to the ones in my mp3 player with a brief explanation.
1. Am I The Only One (Who's Ever Felt This Way) by The Dixie Chicks I think the song title says it all.
2. Anything But Ordinary by Avril Lavigne The lyrics: 'I'd rather be anything but ordinary please; so knock me off my feet; come on now give it to me; anything to make me feel alive'---I think those explain it.
3. Born to Fly by Sara Evans The lyrics 'How do you wait for Heaven?; And who has that much time?; And how do you keep your feet on the ground when you know that you were born to fly?'
4. Chain of Love by Clay Walker The lyrics 'You don't owe me a thing; I've been there too; Someone once helped me out just the way I'm helping you; If you really want to pay me back, here's what you do; Don't let the chain of love end with you'
5. Girls Just Want to Have Fun by Cindy Lauper I think the title says it; plus I'm an 80's child.
6. God Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts The lyrics 'God bless the broken road that led me straight to you'
7. I Could Not Ask For More by Sara Evans The lyrics 'I could not ask for more than this time together; I could not ask for more than this time with you; Every prayer has been answered; Every Dream has come true; Right here in this moment is right where I'm meant to be'
8. La Vie Boheme from Rent It's pretty much the whole song; it's about being outside the norm.
9. Landslide by The Dixie Chicks (originally by Stevie Nicks) The lyrics 'Can I sail through the changing ocean tides; Can I handle he seasons of my life'
10. Life Uncommon by Jewel The lyrics 'Lend your voices only to sounds of freedom; no longer lend your strength to that which you which to be free from; fill your lives with love and bravery; and you shall live a life uncommon'

12. Lucky 4 U by SheDaisy The song is about a girl who is told she has multiple personalities, so the lyrics '#5 just cries a river a minute; 7 wants to tie you up and drown you in it; 14 just wants to say so long, bygones; 32 wants to do things to you that'll make you blush; 10'll key the el Camino that you love so much; and there ain't nobody wants to mess with 23; lucky for you, tonight I'm just me'
13. Material Girl by Madonna Again, another 80's song, so I think it's self-explanatory.
14. Music by Madonna It's pretty much the whole song; I'm pretty sure everyone knows it.
15. My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion Another one that is self-explanatory. Unless you live under a rock, I'm pretty sure you know the song.
16. Never Is a Promise by Fiona Apple This one is pretty much the whole song, but especially the lyrics 'As the scenery grows; I see in different lights; The shades and shadows undulate in my perception; my feelings swell and stretch; I see from greater heights; I now realize what I am now to smart to mention to you'
17. One Last Breath by Creed The lyrics 'Hold me now; I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking; Maybe six feet ain't so far down'
18. Sweet Transvestite from The Rocky Horror Picture Show The lyrics 'Don't get strung out by the way I look; Don't judge a book by it's cover'

What If She's An Angel by Tommy Shane Steiner It's pretty much the whole song, but especially the lyrics 'Maybe she's an angel sent here from heaven; and she's making certain that you're doing your best; to take the time to help one another; brother, are you going to pass that test?; you can go on with your day to day trying to forget what you saw in her face; knowing deep down, you could have been her saving grace; what if she's an angel?'
27. You Can't Stop the Beat from Hairspray It's pretty much the whole song, but especially the lyrics 'You can't stop my happiness; Because I like the way I am; And you just can't stop my knife and fork; when I see a Christmas ham!; And if you don't like the way I look; well, I just don't give a damn; because the world keeps spinning round and round; and my heart keeps time to the speed of sound; I was lost til I heard the drums and I found my way; you can't stop the beat'

OK, I know I wrote a ton, but out of 514 songs on my player, I totally abridged it. You definitely do not have to write as much as I did, but I do want to know what songs apply to your life.

I think that Lindsey Lohan thinks a lot of herself to compare herself to one name celebrities like Cher, Madonna and Oprah. I have NEVER thought immediately of Lindsey Lohan when I hear the name "Lindsey". She just wants to put herself in the spotlight and gain attention even if it is negative attention. She is NO WAY the same caliber of star as the three mentioned previously. Personally, I LIKE the E-Trade commercials with the talking babies........ Milkaholic - what..........

This is a "game" I play with my children, pick a random word and see who can come up with the most song titles. It can be any variant of the word "Love", i.e, loved, loving, loves, etc. which should make it a little easier.

Have you seen those cute E-trade commercials with the talking babies? Well, there is one that mentions a baby named Lindsay being a milkaholic, and Lindsay Lohan believes this is a slam aganst her. She is suing E-trade because she claims her name is just as recognizable as Madonna or Oprah, so she feels E-trade is referring to her.
I think that she is crazy. Lindsay is a common name, and I guarantee that if Lindsay Lohan did not personally struggle with alcohol and drug addiction that there would not be an uproar about this commercial. I have seen this commercial several times, and I never thought it was referring to Lindsay Lohan. There are other famous Lindsays, for example Lindsay Wagner, and you don't see them suing E-trade, do you? I just think that Lindsay has too much time on her hands and that she is being a little narcicistic. What do you think about this?
