It drives me nuts when I hear about women who deny sex to their boyfriends or husbands for no good reason. I hear a lot of "Im tired" but arent the men tired to? Also, since when did sex with your partner take hours? The last thing I would ever want would be to send my sexually deprived partner out into the world everyday. Im not saying they would cheat, but would want to more, or look at other women more because they arent getting what they want at home. Also, sex feels good!! HELLOO! If sexual feeling or masterbation are completely gone then a woman should go have her hormones checked, which could easily be the problem. LADIES LADIES LADIES if you dont have sex with your man someone will!
Music is a very powerful thing; there are a lot of songs that I can apply to my life. I know that other people must feel the same way, so I want to know how music applies to your life. It can be any genre or by any artist.
I can name a lot of songs that apply to my life, but I am just going to stick to the ones in my mp3 player with a brief explanation. 1. Am I The Only One (Who's Ever Felt This Way) by The Dixie Chicks I think the song title says it all. 2. Anything But Ordinary by Avril Lavigne The lyrics: 'I'd rather be anything but ordinary please; so knock me off my feet; come on now give it to me; anything to make me feel alive'---I think those explain it. 3. Born to Fly by Sara Evans The lyrics 'How do you wait for Heaven?; And who has that much time?; And how do you keep your feet on the ground when you know that you were born to fly?' 4. Chain of Love by Clay Walker The lyrics 'You don't owe me a thing; I've been there too; Someone once helped me out just the way I'm helping you; If you really want to pay me back, here's what you do; Don't let the chain of love end with you' 5. Girls Just Want to Have Fun by Cindy Lauper I think the title says it; plus I'm an 80's child. 6. God Bless the Broken Road by Rascal Flatts The lyrics 'God bless the broken road that led me straight to you' 7. I Could Not Ask For More by Sara Evans The lyrics 'I could not ask for more than this time together; I could not ask for more than this time with you; Every prayer has been answered; Every Dream has come true; Right here in this moment is right where I'm meant to be' 8. La Vie Boheme from Rent It's pretty much the whole song; it's about being outside the norm. 9. Landslide by The Dixie Chicks (originally by Stevie Nicks) The lyrics 'Can I sail through the changing ocean tides; Can I handle he seasons of my life' 10. Life Uncommon by Jewel The lyrics 'Lend your voices only to sounds of freedom; no longer lend your strength to that which you which to be free from; fill your lives with love and bravery; and you shall live a life uncommon' 10. Hands by Jewel I think everyone knows the song; it's pretty much the whole song. 11. Like a Prayer by Madonna The lyrics 'Just like a prayer; your voice can take me there; just like a muse to me; you are a mystery; just like a dream; you are not what you seem; just like a prayer, no choice, your voice can take me there' 12. Lucky 4 U by SheDaisy The song is about a girl who is told she has multiple personalities, so the lyrics '#5 just cries a river a minute; 7 wants to tie you up and drown you in it; 14 just wants to say so long, bygones; 32 wants to do things to you that'll make you blush; 10'll key the el Camino that you love so much; and there ain't nobody wants to mess with 23; lucky for you, tonight I'm just me' 13. Material Girl by Madonna Again, another 80's song, so I think it's self-explanatory. 14. Music by Madonna It's pretty much the whole song; I'm pretty sure everyone knows it. 15. My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion Another one that is self-explanatory. Unless you live under a rock, I'm pretty sure you know the song. 16. Never Is a Promise by Fiona Apple This one is pretty much the whole song, but especially the lyrics 'As the scenery grows; I see in different lights; The shades and shadows undulate in my perception; my feelings swell and stretch; I see from greater heights; I now realize what I am now to smart to mention to you' 17. One Last Breath by Creed The lyrics 'Hold me now; I'm six feet from the edge and I'm thinking; Maybe six feet ain't so far down' 18. Sweet Transvestite from The Rocky Horror Picture Show The lyrics 'Don't get strung out by the way I look; Don't judge a book by it's cover' 19. Seasons of Love from Rent It's pretty much the whole song, but especially the lyrics '525, 600 minutes; 525, 000 moments so dear; 525, 600 minutes; how do you measure, measure a year....measure in love' 20. Standing Outside the Fire by Garth Brooks The lyrics 'Life is not tried, it is merely survived if you're standing outside the fire' 21. Sweet Dreams by Annie Lennox The lyrics 'Everybody's looking for something; some of them want to use you; some of them want to be used by you; some of them want to abuse you; some of them want to be abused' 22. Take Me or Leave Me from Rent The lyrics 'Take me for what I am; who I was meant to be; and if you give a damn, take me baby; or leave me' 23. The Climb by Miley Cyrus The lyrics 'There's always going to be another mountain; I'm always going to want to make move; there's always going to be an uphill battle; sometimes, I'm going to have to lose; ain't about how fast I'll get there; ain't about what's waiting on the other side; it's the climb' 24. Top of the World by The Dixie Chicks The lyrics 'Think I'll grab ahold of that little song bird; take her for a ride to the top of the world; because everyone's singing; we just want to be heard' 25. We Shall Be Free by Garth Brooks It's pretty much the whole song. 26. What If She's An Angel by Tommy Shane Steiner It's pretty much the whole song, but especially the lyrics 'Maybe she's an angel sent here from heaven; and she's making certain that you're doing your best; to take the time to help one another; brother, are you going to pass that test?; you can go on with your day to day trying to forget what you saw in her face; knowing deep down, you could have been her saving grace; what if she's an angel?' 27. You Can't Stop the Beat from Hairspray It's pretty much the whole song, but especially the lyrics 'You can't stop my happiness; Because I like the way I am; And you just can't stop my knife and fork; when I see a Christmas ham!; And if you don't like the way I look; well, I just don't give a damn; because the world keeps spinning round and round; and my heart keeps time to the speed of sound; I was lost til I heard the drums and I found my way; you can't stop the beat'
OK, I know I wrote a ton, but out of 514 songs on my player, I totally abridged it. You definitely do not have to write as much as I did, but I do want to know what songs apply to your life.
I mean.. come on now! I have nothing against her or her music, in fact I have one of her songs in my mp3 player for my workout list of songs. But for kids???? Her videos are, to say the least, minimal in fabric and on the umm.. adult content side, her lyrics, to say the least, are minimal in censorship.
I might be branded as a prude or whatever but I think kids need boundaries for a reason. Choice of music or what videos they watch might sound extreme to be monitored but when wrong or inappropriate things are done or said, or worse, crimes or pregnancies by kids happen-- where do they point their little fingers first as the main reason of why they did what they did? "The game made me do it!" or "The tv made me think it's okay to do it!"
I would rather be disliked by a lot of kids or anyone for that matter than agree or act like this is okay. They can watch Lady Gaga when they are old enough to understand what she's singing about.
I might not be able to stop my kids from seeing her videos or those like hers or hear it (since it's on the radio 24/7) all the time but I sure will not just sit and let them bop their little heads to the music while I am present in the room or car or wherever.
I think that Lindsey Lohan thinks a lot of herself to compare herself to one name celebrities like Cher, Madonna and Oprah. I have NEVER thought immediately of Lindsey Lohan when I hear the name "Lindsey". She just wants to put herself in the spotlight and gain attention even if it is negative attention. She is NO WAY the same caliber of star as the three mentioned previously. Personally, I LIKE the E-Trade commercials with the talking babies........ Milkaholic - what..........
Its hard to choose, but I would like to have lunch with Selena Gomez, she has great music and has a wonderful career, and I would love to ask her what that is like.
This is a "game" I play with my children, pick a random word and see who can come up with the most song titles. It can be any variant of the word "Love", i.e, loved, loving, loves, etc. which should make it a little easier.
Today in the news Lindsey Lohan is threatening to sue the company that produced that e*commerce commercial that played during the Super Bowl 2010, you know the "milk-a-holic" one that mentions "Lindsey". The production company says that the name was selected because it belonged to one of their office staff. So do you think they actually made it about her or is it just her big head talking? It's not like Lindsey is as rare a name as say: Aquanetta or Ogerita (which are the real names of real people).
Have you seen those cute E-trade commercials with the talking babies? Well, there is one that mentions a baby named Lindsay being a milkaholic, and Lindsay Lohan believes this is a slam aganst her. She is suing E-trade because she claims her name is just as recognizable as Madonna or Oprah, so she feels E-trade is referring to her. I think that she is crazy. Lindsay is a common name, and I guarantee that if Lindsay Lohan did not personally struggle with alcohol and drug addiction that there would not be an uproar about this commercial. I have seen this commercial several times, and I never thought it was referring to Lindsay Lohan. There are other famous Lindsays, for example Lindsay Wagner, and you don't see them suing E-trade, do you? I just think that Lindsay has too much time on her hands and that she is being a little narcicistic. What do you think about this?
