I agree with her as we have kept German Sheperds for over 30 years and all my children have been brought up with them and we have never had a problem with any of them. To me they are well adjusted dogs and can be trusted with young children. But my daughters in laws are dead against the idea saying that any large dog could not be trusted with a child. They don't seem to have any problem when my grandson visits us and plays with ours, we've tried talking to them but they won't budge on there opinion. The in laws have got cats so I can't see what the problem is with them. Have you tolunees got any thoughts on the matter.
Do you know a good blode joke..heres one to start you off.. A blonde went to buy a Pizza and after ordering, the assistant asked the blonde if she would like her pizza cut into six pieces or twelve. "Six please" she said, "I could never eat twelve!"
a blond missed the no.66 bus so she got the no.33 twice. or why did the blond spend 10.mins. looking at the orange juice? because it said concentrate. how do u make a blond laugh on saturday? tell her a joke on wednesday
We always shop wisely and shop around - why throw money away? I seldom ask for a discount, unless its a situation like you are buying a christmas tree off a farmer for cash and the like - unusual situations where its cash only and you fancy chancing your arm. I would never barter at a till in a supermarket because 1000,s shop there every day and just pay - I wouldn't want to be the one turned down in front of a que of fed up people.
I only asked once when purchasing 3 electrical items and was looked at as something that had crawled out from under a stone so have never tried again even though I keep saying I will try again.!!!!!!!but I am not that confident in a shop. If out where no one knows me I may have a go, I did get £5 off 3 cardigans on the market last year as I was dithering wether to get them or not? so I was lucky then!
I recently found a very thin and obviously pregnant cat living in our garden shed. No-one claimed her and we already have a cat and don't want another, so thing I was doing the right thing I took her to the local R.S.P.C.A. centre. The assistant there said I would have to pay to have her re-homed. I explained it wasn't my cat etc., but she just stared hard at me, and wouldn't budge. I took the cat home and phoned the Cats Protection League. What a difference. They came within the hour and took her to a foster home where she had three kittens and all are now doing well. A friend had the same problem on finding an injured dog in the road. Because she took it in to stop further accidents they said it was now hers and she would have to get the local vet out. Not interested. The local vet treated the dog for free and it was eventually re-united with its very grateful owner who re-imbursed the vet! Wild animals fare no better. We found a kestrel chick years ago and were told to let it fend for itself. A local vet nursed it back to health and it was released back into the wild. This is a charity that relies on public funding. It promises to look after sick, homeless and injured animals. the reality seems different. I don't want to put anyone off donating to them as they do a lot of good work and these may not be typical incidents. However, when thousands of pounds of donations go to them I feel they should make more effort to try and protect all animals and help as many as possible instead of dismissing some as out of their hands.
Brilliant, but just a start. More votes to come but this is where it is going to get interesting - it is not hard to make an argument to stop these particular MPs claiming a second home allowance, after all, they are probabyy only a bus or tube journey away from the Houses of Parliament! However, this is a small number of MPS - the vast majority of MPs represent constituencies outside of Outer London and will use this as justification for claiming a second home allowance still, or simpy state the rules say I can, so I will.....can't wait to hear those Outer London MPs squealing as their noses are pulled from the trough......hopefully the first of many.
I think they'll still find a way to formulate rules that supplement their incomes in a way that the general public will find hard to justify. They're all just trying to line their pockets at our expense. I'd be more impressed if they agreed to do something about their fat pensions. It's all very well pretending to stand shoulder to shoulder with the public/in solidarity with the common man at this difficult economic time, had it not been for the recession they wouldn't have budged. It's a sham. They're pretending to make sacrifices now because they've been caught out.
This is for those of you who love a good old moan. We all need to let it out so heres a topic for you to do it on :O) So feel free to moan away.
I'll start you all off with a mon about this bloody so called 24 hr sickness bug that has in fact lasted almost a week, totally ruined mine and my partners easter break, and just seems to be lingering on and on. Although the worst sypmtoms have gone, theres this constant underlying queasyness and just unwell feeling. Bah HumBug to someone even giving it the title 24 hr bug!!!!
Ok my moan over, next persons turn :O) Hope you all feel a bit better after having a good old moan and venting about anything and anything.

Hi Mishu ;-) Mine has to be Toy Story. I just never get sick of it and I love the way there is some adult humour in it that kids would not get, just as well too as my little ones love it. It was the first film that my two and a half year old sat through and did not budge ;-)
