As my husband and I get older, I am starting to have this anxiety that I might wake up one night, or morning, to find my husband has died in bed next to me. When I wake up in the night, I have to listen, or feel him, to make sure he is still breathing. Am I the ONLY person who ever feels this way? I guess it is because my husband has turned 52, and that is the age at which my father died from heart trouble. I guess I am having a lot of new anxieties to deal with lately, especially in the night. I am only 41 years old, but often find myself being surprised when I wake up that I am still alive. I just have this feeling I am going to die young, like my father did. He was only 52. Do you ever wake up feeling this way? Sometimes it's amusing; sometimes it's scary; sometimes it's gratifying. I think the best age to be is in late thirties to early forties. If you are younger than that then there is still so much in life that you have to learn. If your older you feel like your life is about over. In the mid age then you know enough to suit you but you are still young enough to enjoy everything ablout life. Know there is that select few that are older and still in shape to enjoy life to its fullest plus they are much wiser.
